Customers are required to be present and sign for all freight shipments. Please make sure to inspect the item thoroughly before signing for the product, if any damage is present make sure to either note the damage on the delivery receipt or refuse the shipment based on the extent of the damage. If the customer signs for the item and later realizes damages, the customer may then be responsible for those damages. If the damages are minor such as scratches to the unit, or a small part you feel comfortable replacing yourself than it is best to just sign for the unit as damaged but still accept delivery. Please take pictures of the damage to the unit and send them to support@sleequipment.com so that a damage claim can be started for either partial reimbursement or replacement parts depending on the damage. If the damages are major such as the unit looks to have been crushed in shipping, then it is best to refuse the shipment. Please take pictures of the unit and email them to support@sleequipment.com so that a claim can be started for you. Please note, if a damaged item is accepted we are not always able to have the item picked back up for a replacement so if you do accept the item make sure the damaged parts are minor enough that you feel comfortable replacing.
